I've done several Fiverr gigs to submit my site to thousands of other sites, but in doing a backlink check, only my hard backlinks that I created on my own blogs are showing.

I'm just curious as to what this means.

Backlinks take a long time to show up under such tools (my site ranking #1 for a medium competition keyword ~15k uniques monthly only shows 4 backlinks). Keep building links (web 2.0/social network posts are a good way to go) and give it some time, you'll see progress.

Watch out for fiverr Gigs. There are people on this forum that has said that has ranked sites with that kind (quality) of services, but if you don't know what you are doing, things can get harsh.

Anyway, like the previous poster said, links can take time.

If you are looking for semi-quality gigs, there are a couple of case studies on BHW ranking websites with those kind of services.

Fiverr backlinks are usually low quality backlinks. If you get reports from them, throw the links into lindexed to get them crawled or indexed. Just don't throw 10,000 scrapebox comments into lindexed as it won't be good for your site, especially if your site is new. Check your backlinks with ahrefs.com. A free account over there will allow you to see the new backlinks that come into your site.
