I've created a second-hand goods trading website ：Swapsilo.com . Can it still be profitable now

Lot of spammers and scammers swarm these kind of sites and ruin them beyond repair.
Once the reputation is gone its over.
So figure out how you gonna tackle it.

Your best play is to make it local for a small (but progressive) community. Market around the fact that other platforms are swarmed with scammers and yours isn't. Once you have enough traction and publicity within the community, get it featured on a local media outlet, and leverage that to jump into another region. Rinse and repeat. Conquer them all one by one.
 
I personally feel that the second-hand market is now saturated. Although it can still be profitable, the competition is fierce.
 
How are others going to know about your site? Do you have good marketing budget?
