I've been scammed for over a grand!

I was just wondering what would you do if you were in my situation.

Anyway, I had like $1300 in my paypal in July. I needed them out of there, moneybookers or cash, it wasn't a real account with valid information I mean. So I decided to go for money exchange and some dudes recommended me this guy Shafiq or something. He had an account on dp:

http://forums.digitalpoint.com/itrader.php?u=142049 I mean the dude has over 100 itraders so I was like, fuck it and went for it. I dunno why I was that stupid though to send him a mass payment... He told me that the money would be in my moneybookers in like 3 days so I was like ok... Then I went on a vacation and 10-15 days later I logged into my laptop and checked my moneybookers and saw $0 inside. I quickly got him on yahoo and he told me his account was frozen and that he was going to the US and will send me my money via western union. He said he was going there in september... September came and i got him talking again he told me he delayed that until some EID kindathing they got going... And that it lasted till october... ITs fucking november now. As soon as I logged on msn that fucker went offline. He's still active on twitter: http://twitter.com/shafiqkamal though...


What would you guys do? That guy is a reputable fuck on dp so I could easily ruin his reputation but will that get me my money back? I aint gonna bitch about it after all its just a bit over a grand but its my money, u know what im saying?! I could provide screenshots and all the transaction details and stuff...

Don't be negative

Talk about the problems we face in international commerce.

But keep logging EVERYTHING like

I'm not sure he'll return my money by me just posting on dp but it'll surely make people think twice before dealing with him again. Its an interesting idea though.

There's always the 'where does he live'? If your ticket to his doorstep is <$1300 I wouldn't give a shit and go punch him up and ruin his yard for $1300+....But that's just me in a nutshell. I'm very short-tempered.

Maybe This DP guy had sold his account for money, And the buyer of the account scammed you, and will scam more people in future, I guess.

I would create a new nic and ID and approach him with some sought of
deal that would create his interest. Not being to forthcoming I would
draw him in like a fish until I have enough on him to hook him good and
proper. It would take a bit of forethought on your behalf but a greedy
man is always easy to catch. Just make the bait tasty enough. In
fact I wouldn't approach him myself I would have someone he trusts
point me to him. Let him think that he is in control while you proceed
with your agenda. He will drop his pants sooner or later.

make sure you put his name in your signature and in the title of the forum topic.

But he's not a member on bhw as far as I know. I already posted his twitter and dp. I just twitted the dude, looks like he's active in there. Name's Shafiq Kamal though. Probably some people know him already.

Looks like he's been banned from DP but you could tell him that he has a week to reply or else you will start fucking up his twitter business by gathering all of his followers and whenever he tweets you will follow that with a tweet of your own saying what a scam artist he is and to avoid all of his posts. Either that or sign up for multiple accounts and start reporting his every post from every account as spam (do a search for hummingbird). It looks like twitter might be a good source of business for him so the loss of earnings might be enough to persuade him.

You can also tell him that you will be purchasing domains such as http://www.ShafiqKamalscammer.com and will be optimising the shit of it so that whenever someone searches for him, your domains will surround his.

Finally tell him that if he doesn't return your money, you will make sure it is damn hard for him to make anymore money online. You will follow his every step and block every move including falsely reporting him to the ams of any cpa he is promoting as well as destroying his reputation on every social networking site, blog and forum. Basically - you are going to dedicate your time to fucking him up.

If all else fails after 2 weeks, I'm afraid you'll just have to move on and chalk it down to experience. The time you spend after that trying to get the money back is going to be time and energy wasted when you could earning the money back

Man listen, This guy is from Bangladesh. $1300 is a great amount for him. So he will leave the DP id instead of returning back money. I can give you an idea that will make a real fuck for this poor shit
Paypal does not supports Bangladesh. That means he is using a paypal illegally. So trace where from he has verified his account. And boom his account. It is very tough to manage paypal accounts. He will be ruined too....

lol man, i know him he got lots itrader because he offers services like email account all small money, and then you came with so much cash to him his indian this like 10 grand for him, it's like he won the lottery LOL think agian those itrader dont count they just wait for the jackpot. the best thing you can do if it's paypal open dispute you can win esay I won many times if you wanna help with paypal just pm me ;]
