I've a script but how to make it work?

Any script, should have "/install" url. Well, mostly of them have it.I've a script. It's in a folder public_html. How can I make it work? like upload it into my website or lets say install it into my website?
I'm absolutely new to installing scripts and stuff so bear my noobiness.
Try to go o your folder script url, then add "/install" at end.
