It's just rose flavoured milk... Friend said it's strawberry and rose but I see only rose in ingredients list lol.I see a cow in the logo, can I assume it's some sort of milkshake?
My six senses say it's not strawberries.
Ah no man, I've been to the supermarket, it's civilized here. Just a bit different. Gonna get fiber internet once they finish painting and fixing my house. You can order traditional food straight from the app to your door lol.I thought Sri Lanka is like some other planet
But they still have all earth stuff there
Interesting
Its Faluda, its written on the package.I see a cow in the logo, can I assume it's some sort of milkshake?

How much for house? Can you afford buying one there? What wages?Ah no man, I've been to the supermarket, it's civilized here. Just a bit different. Gonna get fiber internet once they finish painting and fixing my house. You can order traditional food straight from the app to your door lol.
$70-150 would be enough for renting a house, depends on what size you want. You can also pay more but these are bigger ($250-300 for these). Depends on the size, if you want 1 bathroom, 2, 3, etc. You don't need to buy like in Poland, you can just rent and have less responsibility. But buying is possible too I think, when I looked at prices houses cost like buying used polish apartment. So if you have apartment in Poland you can sell that and just use that as savings and rent, maybe you could buy a house if you want that responsibility (I don't anymore, it's like with phone - I'm so much happier with prepaid). Water costs $5 a month for a family (my friends - 2 adults, kid, 2 dogs). Food for a month costs as much as 1 week of food in Poland. Generally you wouldn't want to work here (check your visa terms), the idea is to digital nomad it out and work remotely (not that much of a nomad, you can stay for most of the year, then go on very short trip/vacation for example to India or Maldives and go back and start visa cycle again). So yeah if you have remote hustle but it pays too low in Europe, it should be ok here because prices are crazy low and food quality is crazy good (I'm overeating on a regular basis, can't stuff any more into myself hahah). I know this russian guy I read about started tourism business here and I've read about and seen on tv polish people who also have tourism businesses here in Sri Lanka so it's possible to start an offline business too but you need to have right visa type, it's probably different than what you get if you just want to work remotely. I have decided to get small house because I wanted to see how cheap I can go so I could work less (or barely at all) and still don't worry about bills so my rented house is around $70 per month. I actually planned to spend more but once I learned it's possible to pay less and still have cute comfy house I went with cheaper one. It's rented not bought so it's easier to switch to another one once I get bored or whatever. It's next to medicinal spring and has mini supermarket (like, you know, for groceries), meat store, vegetables store, etc on another side of the street. Beautiful gardens (again big or small depending on property) with fruit trees that you can eat straight from your garden are a norm. How much for house? Can you afford buying one there? What wages?
Literally got the idea from here... Multiple indian members openly admitted how little they pay for houses, I was like huh? But India has shit complicated visas. Met a sri lankan friend here (thank you, bhw xD) and he pays the same (edit: not $70, I forgot now... $120? $150?), for like, 2 bathroom house... Visas are more approachable. It is an island country and it really, really does have that vibe. I'm sold.Sounds real black hat @SilverClouds![]()
I have literally one fucking square meter. I mean, like a box with mattress. And it costs $100. I love Poland. I found there's a lot of nationalistic tendency around here.Literally got the idea from here... Multiple indian members openly admitted how little they pay for houses, I was like huh? The reason my house is $70 - it's only 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom (+ kitchen, small living room), but I came to conclusion it's enough, can always upgrade if needed. I just want to rest as much as possible and not worry about rent.
Honestly I think it's a really cool geo because indian prices (and ayurveda/herbs, in Poland I almost lived in our local etno/eco/ayurvedic store) but it's an island so you're feeling like on vacation huh. Also the region I'm in has beautiful mountains (I love mountains).
Oh my gosh, not good. I paid around $419 per month for 67,5 m2 (3 rooms) in Poland but I pseudo-owned it, cost around $74000. Paid crazy amounts for water (sri lankan $5 per month convinced me). So yeah, your typical used polish flat *shrugs*. Sorry idk how much m2 this sri lankan house has since the one I've seen online (and had all the numbers in the ad/post) was taken, my friend asked around irl and we literally found one available next to it xD. But from me walking around it irl it seemed really nice with cute garden and stuff. Could get like a luxury house (you know, multiple rooms and bathrooms) by polish standards if I paid my old rent here lol but that's the point, clients stopped comming so I want mini-rent. people feel like they have to live here
but it's like Germany just harder
My friend calls Poland as European Burkina Faso. Not even funny. It's crazy hard and pointless to live here...Oh my gosh, not good. Yup, I lived in Poland only because I was born there... Come on, I know 3 languages, why would I stay in Poland with sudden taxes, electricity and food prices increase? Fuck it. If I won't like it I can also try other countries but I have a feeling that if they won't kick me out (but I don't think so, visas here seem fairly straightforward) I'll stay here for a while lol. But Poland? Just too expensive for a country that's not even that interesting. Try to run pl google ads for your marketing agency - plenty of $12 per click keywords (that's just a click, not a lead or a sale), this isn't even funny. I checked how much is adult ad networks (since these are cheapest paid ads) cpm for polish traffic and it's only slightly cheaper than american traffic lol. Won't get even into how expensive roaming calls are. It turns out it's actually cheap to call polish phone number from sri lankan number lol but if I called from my polish number to another polish number while I'm in Sri Lanka it'd kill my prepaid account ugh.
I know this is a relative thing and for example american members reading this can react 'damn, Poland is so cheap' but with our salaries it's expensive. Def seen some americans move to houses in the country in Poland, so maybe for them it's like Sri Lanka is for me.
nope.Today It's Valentine's Day?
