    I'm tired, so I'll keep this one short: I'm going on a journey!

    my goal: get my very own 1$/day thingy :rolleyes:

    I now have: a powerful desktop pc, a tablet, a dumb phone, a netbook, unlimited calls and texts, constant 20mbps connection, scrapebox, azon pack, free TT, free MS, GAKWT, 300,000 PLR articles, 3GB of SEO&IM books, 17GB of porn (not related whatsoever), 500 euros, a weekend, and maybe most importantly of all,
    :weightlifMOTIVATION:weightlif
    considering the utter lack of physical time that I have, this is my plan: I want to find a niche, set up a blog, put adsense on, put some articles, backlink, and let it a while to see what results I get; in the meantime, I shall read some books on video marketing, find an amazon niche, outsource the creation of a few review vids, post them to the tubes, set up redirection and try to make some sales through amazon; then make some gaming videos and a domain that would redirect to CPA offers, just to see how that works; also, I will set up a blog that I will fill with other possible niches I find from my azon research; I will make a plan for an offline and outsourcing business model that I found in a WSO; I was thinking also about building a general adult video website, but I don't have a plan yet;

    what I want to say is that I kind of want to try as many of the methods out there as possible in as little time and with as little investment as possible;
    having said that, I know I shouldn't dream big: my goal is to learn, basically, and see which of these methods suits me best, and which can be scaled the fastest;

    my next goal will be around 25 euros/day in passive income, but for the moment, I want to concentrate on making the first step;

    I will keep updating this thread with info as I go along, with things that seem to work and things that don't etc... any contribution is appreciated
    if you have any advice for me, go ahead, I enjoy getting other people's opinions!

    side note: I'm kind of tired, having slept around 4h this night ... I'm gonna take a nap before beginning to make an actual plan on what I will be really doing; they do say that all good things begin with a break, so I don't want to work too hard and risk having bad luck :rolleyes:

    well, friends, off I go
    cheers!

    Nice to see you get going but I think you should aim bigger. Something like a $10 per day would be a better goal to set. Best of luck :)

    A goal's a goal but its a bit low :)

    Either way at least you will be able to achieve it quickly. I suppose setting a low goal isn't such a bad idea because once you achieve it you will feel successful. I like your mindset OP + rep! :D

    Good Luck with this Journey!

    thank you for being together with me on this one
    what I need the most are some friends, I guess that's what I found here, on bhw :)
    I didn't explain myself well enough: this is not my goal, like in "the goal"
    The Goal is getting to around 100 euros / day in (really) passive income. Once I get there, I'll be financially free, not needing a day job anymore, and I'll be able to concentrate on this, trying to get to 250, 700, 1500 (...) €/ day ... :cool:
    this is, as I said, a first step that I had yet to take; next is 5 euros / day, 10 after that, followed by 25 ... you get the idea :D

    now that introductions have been made, I'll select a color scheme for my posts, like ... green for the daily stats concerning the actual journey, so that who's strictly interested in reading the IM details won't get lost in our other comments;

    11/05
    running: 0 sites, 0 videos
    making: 0€/day
    balance: 500€

    I slept for roughly half an hour...
    I'm going to start by writing everything down in a manner that would resemble an real plan...

    Yeah, looks good enough :)
    I have around 6 months left of my unlimited hosting plan over at dreamhost, so that's taken care of

    I have a question for you guys: would you advise me to buy any additional software in my current situation? I was thinking namely of a keyword tool, like MicroNF? I'm currently using google, but I want to get a second opinion :)

    Let's see where this road takes me :D

    I wouldn't worry about that no. The Google KW tool is good enough for what you need. I've never bought any keyword tools and I have been in IM for almost 4 years. I just use the Google tool and Google trends for the bulk of my research. There are definitely some great tools out there, but while you're just getting started and have limited funds, I would use the money elsewhere.

    It's good to see you're motivated and starting a journey, but may I recommend you decide on a single idea and put all of your focus on that instead of trying a little bit of everything and hoping one works?

    I know that was one of my main problems when I first got started was I wanted to try everything out (hell, I still have that problem sometimes). I started seeing results when I stuck to one idea at a time and put all of my efforts into it.

    Good luck with everything.

    Life is full of screw-ups. You're supposed to fail sometimes.. So, always keep in mind - "Failures are finger post on the road to achievement".
    All the best for your success!

    Thanks for the advice ... even if I didn't choose to, I realised that's exactly what I'm doing at the moment: I started with the classical method: finding a niche, making a site with a few pages worth of content, and monetize it using adsense; as it was the first thing on my list, I couldn't get to the next one without having had finished with this one; so, basically, I will put up the whole site, and leave it (backlinking proccess continues, of course), and while waiting for it to grow, I will start working on something else; how does that sound for a plan? :)

    I guess what you said is true ... thanks, mate!

    I just explained in my second post what my real goal is :)

    Most people start with tons of motivation. Let's see you keep it after failing time after time. Good luck though, you'll need it!
