Something like this is bound to happen since the US government already wants Google to stop paying Apple to have Google as default search engine.

How many Apple users depend on Safari? Most people use chrome anyway. Would Apple also force its Ai search inside chrome?

The ceo of google is already negotiating for the integration of gemini in apple. They wont kill google easyly.
 
internet has always been a fraud place.
I hope apple Ai search is not good with algo updates. google killed internet in 2009 with do-follow and no-follow algo update and further updates burried the body of internet into facebook graveyard.

Shout out to the 3 people who specialized in Bing SEO, looks like they were way ahead of their time.

Also, maybe time to invest in Microsoft.

Afterthought: Holy sh*t, maybe Bing was playing the long game all along, well played to Bing.
 
Websites and blogs on search will soon get replaced with generative AI once they are able to lower the computing costs.

Cloud and hosting services will get hit first.

But imo markets will get disrupted

I am very sure people panicked when they had to switch from horse carriages to automobiles or yellow pages to online directories/search

ps: yes optimising a brand on generative AI results will become a service offering like SEO. AI is still a baby and it will be the early days of blog and SEO.
 
This chart is bleeding like a crypto coin. wouldn't expect that from google
 
They wont give up that easily.. Lets wait for their comeback..
 
Looks like as perplexity CEO said google won't change things pretty easily because their major revenue comes from ads. And if they opt in for AI rapidly they will be loosing that reveune.
