This is true, but also kinda sad.
Just a few years ago there were forums where people discussed shit.
Not its just quora and reddit left, and they suck.
Quora super sucks. Its just generic junk mostly. When you open a page youll find everything on it except the answers to the fucking question being asked.
And reddit, its kinda all right. But it has no soul. It doesnt even work right on Firefox. Every topic that gets started eventually dies out. Very often i find totally legit and nicely laid out posts with 0 answers. And ultimately most of the replies on anything are junk (but not as junk as quora).
The days of forums were better. You could have a purple string with a heartbeat growing out from your fucking eye and youd find a forum thread/s with people talking about it. And it was good discussions. And you could join the discussion and keep it going.
Yeah i miss the forum days. It was better for finding info.
Though i guess during the forum days, even up to a few years ago, the population of the internet was a bit more, how to say, nerdy, intelligent, isolated. So these people keep it real.
But now when every dick and harry is online, and their governments took it over, well, quora and reddit, junk. We're all alone now
