remake it, just put up a saturation filter and maybe set up some soundtrack on low background, it's now fan art and should be alright when it comes to law.... but because youtube will pull anything down with simple DMCA complaint, it wont help but you cant get into trouble.
No need to do any of that. The original owners give permission for me to copy the videos. Thats how they get onto youtube remix tool!

I got offered monetisation after 3 videos and 1000 views - I also got 300 likes, 150 dislikes and lots of real comments.
I think its more about how much people interact with you than views.

For me, I'm doing about $25,000/month with affiliate. I buy a domain, I ask to be affiliate, I put the code on the site/domain and boom...$25,000 every month...so easy...
