It's been so LONG!

Since I have last visited this site. Anyway, I'm starting a small local company and have lost touch with the world of internet marketing and what not.

My simple question, I will have my site up and running in about 4 weeks... I would like to prepare myself in getting it in the high ranks of Google and other search engines.

Where the hell do I begin?

For your clients you should stick to whitehat, but for your own company it's up to you. WH is of course much safer, and if it's your brand you're not going to want to tarnish it by getting your site tanked. But if you can take sufficient steps to separate yourself from the sites your BHing, you can choose whichever path you'd like...

I prefer using the whitehat process for me and clients, to stay away from trouble and keep my clean my relationship with my clients
