It's all about timing?

After years of trading, I got to understand that it all has to do with perfect timing to get into a trade cause if you buy late, then you end up buying the high. That's why most people partake in pre-sale.

A friend shared with me a strategy that has given him outstanding profits during this period of uncertainty in the market. According to him, he bought $MUBARAK and $TUT and sees Bitget listing of the BSC token as a pre-sale since they list early and Binance listing as the official launch of the token and always sells off once the list is. I gave it a thought, and I checked price action of the 2 coin and they did well during the time of listing on Bitget.

I asked myself, could this be a working strategy to trade? What do you think about his opinion? Could it work for all BSC tokens, or some won't be able to meet up with the hype?

But this strategy works..it is the core concept of trading, either in futures or spot market. For spot, Bitget just makes it easier with giving their users an edge by listing potential gems early. Here's my recent trade , pls pay attention to the chart..1001230447.jpg

These two coins listed on bitget made it big but there will be hundreds that flopped. So, you cannot definitely say that all coins getting listed there will make it big.
 
There is no perfect timing, and there is no such thing as a perfect trade. But this principle applies to traditional markets or markets with enough liquidity.
Doing technical analysis on memes or newly listed coins is just... not smart.

Your response really shows that you have a deep understanding of the market, as I was about to say the same thing until I saw it from another perspective. Most projects that Binance lists on their exchange are typically announced to their users through a poll. Knowing this information would give users the opportunity to buy on Bitget exchange before the listing, creating a win-win situation.

All coins which get listed in bitget do not get listed on binance. So, it can result in huge loss also if you are playing with large capital with these new coins.
 
How will you time the trade? Timing the market is single most difficult thing , specially in memecoins where everything is not crystal clear.
 
I’ve seen that strategy work, but some BSC tokens just don’t hit the same once they’re listed.
 
It's probably mostly about insider trading and having friends tell you about new coin launches before they happen :anyway:
 
Strategy can work for hyped BSC tokens, but not universally—depends on picking the right ones.
 
Obviously timing is key, buying the rumor, selling the news, reading TA. The issue is none of those aspects are airtight and the cryptocurrency market is extremely volatile. I prefer the “time in the market bears timing the market.” approach so I don’t have to keep track of every little news event that moves the market.
 
Get in when the whales are getting in and sell right before the whales dump the price.
 
This launch of TRUMP and MELANIA was shit. But saying that is already repetitive.

The worst of all was Milei's. Ready joke.

And now the series of tariffs that generate a shitload of instability. However, I still believe that we will be better off with Trump than with the Democrats. And that's thinking in the medium term. Because in the short term it's tough.

In the end, I still want to believe that this tariff war will end or at least signal that it will end soon... I don't believe that the countries will stand up to it. I also don't imagine that the US will take a hard line on this. It's worth remembering that BigTechs invested heavily in Trump's campaign and they are all taking the heat right now.
 
But how is he picking this exact winners t. There are many coins getting listed on bitget but all do not explode like the coins you mentioned. If you just picked one bad coin, all the profit will be wiped out.
 
If your timings are about the same timings as the whales, you've got it right. If not, you are with the 95%.
 
No one can time the market, you may as well use astrology. Here is what Isaac Newton once said “I can calculate the motion of heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people.”.

The real trick is to DCA (dollar cost average) into a coin with good fundamentals.

I'll give you an example of DCA:

John buys $1000 of bitcoin on the 1st of every month, whether the price is up or down, so he can reduce the risk of trying to time the market.

All true, but there are risks, if you buy at full price I don't think you'll get a good %.

According to him, it's the BSC token he has tried that strategy with, I don't know if it works for other ecosystems
 
as i know in crypto cannot work with fundamentals and timing will not be guaranteed to succeed
