It's 2015. Can we stop using the term "Web 2.0"?

So this is your first post?

No it's not. I don't know why my post count is frozen.

Anyways I'm sure I'll get a lot of hate for this, but for some reason the term Web 2.0 just irks me. It's called a website. Web 2.0 is a buzzword from the era of Netscape.

It's not frozen; post count in the Lounge just not count.
Anyways, whatever it's called that's it!

There is a definition problem. Most people consider a website, anything with a TLD. A domain is .com/net/org website that you own while a web 2.0 is a third party owned site. I've never really liked the term either but it's the most common phrase to describe a website that you don't own but allows you to create accounts and/or publish content.
