I have an item from supplier with a label I can not advertise for certain reasons. Anyone know how I should proceed advertising a product with a different label when it comes to customer? Will customer care, do I have to notify of difference and would it be breaking some law in US?

*Sorry for bad spelling, written on phone

Don't know US laws in deep but generally speaking costco sells lots of products that do not say ''costco'' on their labels, same apply for any big electronic store that re-sells hp, asus or apple laptops and such.

Now if you're talking some more branding type of business, calling yourself kaizenscales computers and selling laptops with a strange name on it might look shady for your customer the least.

Having a different label itself shouldn't be a problem. I don't think the customer will have anything to say against it, since he just wants the correct product. You could go ahead and send a confirmation mail to your customers stating that your products are produced and shipped from China and therefore it might be possible that the company and shipping address on the label might be different.
