IT/geek tutorials - AC, eHow, Freelance or ??

What you think about writing howto articles about IT/geek/tech/software?
I have experience in that area, and I would generate ~10 unique articles per day.

The problem is, that I don't have experience in Article writing/selling; and I don't know what's the best place to submit/earn.

eHow sounds great for me, because the type of articles (howto). However, they don't have upfront payment, which is a problem for me.

AC is good, but I'm from EU so I can't have upfront payments. Maybe I should buy a PVA for it, but is that a good idea?

Freelancer sites are good too, but I don't know are people interested in this type of articles.

hey, get an ac pva and use a vpn for another $5 a month, and blast away. try using a US paypal too, with the same name and addresses on the ac account. as long as you post original content, they don't care.

if you are willing to spend a bit more, pay like $18 for a skype number and register an account with the vpn and make the pva yourself with your own name on paypal and a fake address. you should be ready to go.

I thought ehow has upfront payments? I believe that they pay $15 for each article which is definitely a very good deal, topic is not of your own choice though. But, ehow is currently hard to get into, they are now stingy on who they accept to write for them. I unfortunately got denied.

They accept users only from US, UK, CA.

I think that I will register at BrightHub.
They pay $10 / article (upfront).

I heard BrightHub is pretty good although I haven't done much personal research about them yet. I also haven't signed up with them yet. I will do that now...

But what you think about how-to type of articles?
Is that a good idea?

It's true that they're short, but very useful.

Yea. I'm not sure. You can probably do how-to articles. I submitted some to AC and about 50% of them got accepted for upfront payments. But yea, I'm not sure what BrightHubs view on how-to articles is though. I just applied for brighthub a little while ago and now I gotta wait to hear back from them...
