It doesn't pay off to be GOOD, so be SELFISH

I think I understand what you mean, you just worded it in a way that sounds too harsh.

Help when you can. If helping someone means you're putting yourself down don't do it. Don't save someone that doesn't want to be saved.

But don't help anyone at all unless you have something to gain? Hmmm, I don't think that way. I mean, I have my boundaries, but that's too exaggerate.

But since we're border brothers I can understand where this is coming from. (North)
I like you

I’ve helped people when they were ‘below’ my level. Years later we’re both making stupid amounts of money daily.

You learn from others perspectives and its always a good thing to be helpful.

I just started learning 3D with blender and even with all the youtube videos its really challenging.

I've got support from 3d artists through discord groups and it's been really helpful.

They don't have to help anyone. But man does it make me want to help the next guy who doesn't know something.

By having a community in so many areas is so awesome.

If you put 100 survivors on one iland and 100 more to another iland. The first 100 survivors are working together helping each other. Second 100 survivors are working all solo.

Which group of survivors would nourish?

This applies to our society, but million times smaller in scale. That's why it's easy to forget that we should all do what we wish would be done to ourselves.

The world could be beautiful, but it only takes a small percentage to make it ugly.

There is quite a bit of truth in what you said OP. But I won't say much because there's always gonna be people who disagree, and we each have our own life philosophies, and that's completely fine. The 2 things I'll say is that this matter is very black and white, but I think it pays off to be "strategically selfish" more often that not. And second, it feels much better to be able to give when you have what you want and you're in a position ABLE to freely give and help. But how do you get to that point? .... go figure.

Basically, help yourself before trying to help others. It pays off much better for both you and the ones you help.

This is the type of person who scams people.

If you dont help others, fine. But looking down at people and using them as tools, thats just sad.

When I hear elderly people geting scammed. I think of people like OP.

But with an attitude like this OP there couldn’t be that many people below you to look down on.

The progress of humanity is built on a healthy mix of us helping ourselves and helping each other at the same time.. your thoughts are those of a very basic thinker I’m afraid.

Being selfish is in our DNA and that's how we make it over natural selection.

My piece of advice: Most people doesn't care about you. So don't worry so much about what others thinks all the time. (I constantly have to remind this to my gf)

Listen, dude - You don't have a high school degree - I don't have a college degree.
WHY would I think you don't have money?
I really don't understand you.
as i said, you judge everything so wrong.

“$0” is there to represent VALUE not money or being rich/broke.

you are gonna make hell out of your life if u r gonna with this ideology sooner or later.

When reading that I was thinking this guy has to be from Eastern Europe, I click your profile and boom "Bulgaria".

I don't know why Eastern Europe has such a self centered, take from others as much as you can and give nothing mentality, but I guess it's from growing up in not the best scenarios and wages are not high.

It's the complete opposite of an abundant mindset and holds you back, but each to their own.

Also the Eastern Europe thing is a generalization, of course not everyone is like that, but it's an interesting trend I see.

why you not using sony vegas / after effect

I don't judge people by whether they have a degree or not I compare them with me - If they have more than me then it means I can learn from them and I'll try to help them thus we bother can benefit from each other. If they have less than me or can't help make my life any better - I just don't wast time.
You sound like a classic selfish person who i wouldnt want to know in the real world. Do you think anyone above you will give you the time of the day with your arrogant/selfish thought processes. Most well rounded successful people dont think like you do. Your OP is messed up,. People like you end up getting conned by some low lifes

Like the old saying "hang out with five losers, you'll be the sixth."

"Helping others is a WASTE of time - Time you could've dedicated to improving yourself and your life or your family." ~ man oh man.. I could write paragraphs about how wrong you are about this. But... to each his own!

I'm in the 20-30 range.

You should know better then, you are not a kid anymore.

Some of the best things in my career happened to me, simply because I was honest and treated others with respect. Huge advancements in position and salary, because I acted like a decent human being.
