Issue with WP block editor adding empty line to the new block after hitting enter with Generatepress theme

Whenever I press enter it creates a new block, which is what I want, but the issue is it creates an empty line in the first line each time, making me have to click at the start of the second line which has the text and press backspace every time.

Ideas?
