Hi. Have any of you recently (past 3 days) used a reddit bot to upvote something?

I've tried 3 different bots, and they all have the same issue - post gets 3 upvotes, and rest don't count.

I'm using accounts that are 4-10 year old, non suspended.
Tried different proxies aswell.

Worked fine with any bot 2 years to 3 days ago. Reddit changed something.

Any clue? Thanks!

Accounts gets flagged if they are used to up vote the same account.

Reddit is strict, so I'm surprised it's only now that you get blocked. If you have been using datacenter proxies, I would suggest to check whether the whole pool hasn't been banned. As for resis, you can try switching them up as well.

It's not the proxies or accounts. Tried a lot of different proxies. It's something to do with new reddit changes :(

Dang, well haven't heard of any changes Reddit has made. Perhaps try limiting the number of your actions? This seems to help on other platforms, such as Instagram.

I can agree with you DecentLad, been upvoting for over a year but since ~1-2 weeks it only counts a few and then stops counting others. If I try to upvote other posts sometimes it suddenly works. Something has changed for sure

This sounds like a classic rate limit, which expires after a certain amount of time. Try to do less actions in a given time frame. Probably it's not the healthiest for the account either, if you hit this limit over and over again.

Same this is happening with me. I wrote my own bot and it uses 6 accounts but counting stops after 3 upvotes so my score remains at 4. All my accounts run in a different browser and have separate ips with browser VPN but I still have this issue. But I'm seeing others getting 40 upvotes in 30 minutes. Someone please help

What kind of activity do you have on your accounts?

I bet something is leaking - but I wouldn't be surprised if they started measuring velocity of upvotes to detect spam.

Basically, if a new post suddenly gets a huge amount of upvotes it looks unnatural - especially if you're posting in non-prime time for your Reddit area.

For example, if a vote comes in from Germany at 3 AM within seconds of an upvote from America at 8pm and followed immediately by an upvote from 12pm from Japan that might look a bit suspicious since they're all upvoting the content so quickly together and from irratic time frames.

Reddit is actually stricter about upvotes than they are about comments.
