Issue with Aliexpress, any answers?

Started a new website a couple of days ago, its took off well banking me just over $270 in the last 2 days but AliExpress have just put a hold on my account and want a copy of my passport, card and statement.

Has anyone provided them with this information? I don't exactly feel safe handing it over.

I spoke to AliExpress and they mentioned to use WebMoney, has anyone used this service at all?

Or does anyone have any alternative methods to get this sorted.

Any help is highly appreciated.

You really shouldn't be worried about verifying your identity with such a huge company.

I know I shouldn't be really, but haven't really heard of anyone having to do it before.

Can I ask have you done it yourself? Or used WebMoney?

Actually i heard a lot of people that needed to confirm the identity with their passport

I don't mind passport verification as it's the same sort of thing with Forex, but photos of cards and statements makes my head funny haha.

Don't worry, they make millions every day. It's a normal procedure when you start making a lot of orders

Just wondering, why do you get money from Aliexpress? Isn't it a site to buy from sellers? Or do you use Aliexpress as a platform to sell and ship your own products, like reseller?

Sorry what I was trying to say was not well said.

I dropship, so I'm trying to pay AliExpress to dropship the orders but they need verification before I can pay them.

Hope that clears things up.

is it safe to order from any supplier on Alibaba or are there scammers? should I stay away from companies that have scam reports?

Choose sellers with a lot of orders and you'll be fine

Of course you should, the only companies that you should do business on Alibaba with are those who are Gold Suppliers at the very least, but Assessed Supplier and Onsite Checked status are even better. Don't take chances, man, there are enough great suppliers on Alibaba to do business with.

Its normal thing, you need to verify your account information specially when its bulk orders. Nothing to worry
