Isn't redbubble strict on copyright?

Any ideas/inputs?

I was banned from RedBubble within about 3 days. I had no sales, no traffic, and uploaded highly modified images of a VW Beatle car that were public domain. They banned me for copyright infringement saying anything VW is not allowed and the ban will not be reversed.
