Hi there

As title say i was wondering if it could be bad to display your social profile via widgets, button code......

Because basicaly you link to a page wich is aslo linking to your site, not really a one way..
should we apply a no follow ?

And...
if i post a video of my channel in an article,(the video link back to the article) the rank of the article drop....euh ?

Really? The social links that 99.99% of all websites have on their site? Why in the world would you think it would be bad?

It's not like you're doing a two-way link trade with another website for the purpose of manipulating rankings. Linking to your social profiles lets your visitors know where else they can find you online and how they can take part in the community. It's a benefit, not a burden.

some plugin wp use the no folllow

so i was wondering the bad and good :(

It's not against Google's webmaster guidelines to link to your social profiles. What Google takes action against is linking two-way links whose purpose is to manipulate the rankings.

I don't think it's a bad idea. I have found that a lot of sites doing same thing. I am talking about Facebook.
In my personal opinion it would be better to link your site related group or page rather then your profile.

It is not a bad thing. By social media, you can cover and attracts many niche users.

These types of links are not harmful, and no-f links simply keep your sites link juice from bleeding off. Personally, I no-follow most outbound links, unless they are to an authority site in my niche. I want those associations.

trusted site actualy have display their social bookmark, thats not bad, its boost your DA and PA
