Is Youtube Chanel Better than Website ?

My mind is torn, so I need your input guys please help me decide. I have trouble focusing on one thing but right now I want to focus all my energy to one thing for 2022.

Would it be better to continue my YT chanel ( its top 10 niche), or create an affiliate website? I do amazon affiliate, but my yt is making 1 usd per month (i have 20 vids), although I can see the potential here. Problem is it would take 1 week to produce 1 video due to editing whereas I could pay writers so I can produce 1 article per day on a website. I dont have a site yet, I would have to plan it out first.

What would you do?

Why not do both? Like you said you can hire writers for your blog. Do that and meanwhile focus on youtube. If you don't have resources for both then focus on youtube. Pays back more in the long run.
 
you have to solve "1 week to produce 1 video", if you want to grow on youtube.
in the top 10 niche you have to be creative to standout.

With youtube.. you can get copyright strike or demonetized or whatever BS and all your work is gone. With website it can take a fuck tons time to rank (if ever) if your kw research is shit (applies to YT also) BUT, unless you have shit links coming to your site, your site can never be taken from you. Even if you don't rank well on Google you can still promote the site via Reddit/Facebook etc.

I would choose website.
 
Use both.
You can promote your videos in other platforms besides YT and sent traffic to your website.
 
Website + SEO + Youtube + Social is a great combination.
 
Yes youtube give you the chance to rank content just by uploading..... With website you have to be good at seo not only at creating content.The choice is your

As you plan to use your website for affiliate marketing purposes, I would stick with the site, as it will definitely give you more opportunities, and you can try out different niches. YouTube can be risky when it comes to making a profit sometimes, so if you don't have videos that you think could be viral, you probably won't earn as much with it as you can with affiliate oriented site. Of course, you could also do both at the beginning and see which gives you more chances, but if you want to choose only one, I would go for website.
 
I think you can do both. But I would suggest focusing on YT that's already working. Scaling the YT channel is easier than opening a new website and hoping to get traffic from Google which will take months
