Hi, is it possible to make good amount via youtube adsense only? I checked some youtubers who have over a million subs and social blade shows they make good amount, of course those are estimates and the amount is either half or close to that. But still I am asking because this is almost 2019 and 90% of the people have adblock or ublock and those who don't, they do not think for a second to click on the "SKIP" button when an ad is played and even if they watch and don't complete watching the ad, it does not count.

So, is youtube adsense still profitable?

Why only youtube? can you add some affiliate links sell t-shirt whit you channel logo if you create qualitative content you can also make you videos "youtube red"

Yes, it's still profittable. Socialblade gives a very broad range, estimates aren't accurate in the slightest. Most of my videos earn in the $1-$2 / 1K views range when they are monetized. On the high end, I've seen channels make $20+ / 1K views. What you earn depends on the type of content you make, viewer demographics, video length.

Most of the channels with over a million subscribers don't rely on Adsense nor do they need it. They can make a significant amount of money with sponsorship deals, selling merchandise, affiliate promotions, etc.

You'd be surprised with how many people don't use ad block. I only use it when watching movies online for the pop ups. i dont mind a small video ad to benefit the creator.

Youtube adsense is not the most profitable.

Well, may not be most profitable but what I like about adsense is it's passive hands-free income. I have a website where I haven't uploaded any new content for the last six months and it's still bringing revenue from adsense.

CPA/Affiliate, product placement, native advertising are more profitable.

Yes profit potential is higher but not hands-free. You have to constantly look for traffic and new offer (if the existing offer goes inactive).

If you need the most passive income, sure, adsense is what you need.

There you got the 90% statistics?
People watch Youtube on jobs, colleges and etc. in many places you can;t install or add any soft without admin permision so...
Also many people do not understand how to install and etc.
So you have a niche for old people or people who are killing time at job ;)

Adsense pays shit. You can earn way more with affiliates, paid promotions, etc.

Im not saying to ignore Adsense, because it does give a bit. Think of Adsense like a side dish.
