So now that Yahoo and Microsoft Bing has been combining their search forces for a while and Yahoo Site Explorer API is going down any day now (already gone?), how likely is it that the Yahoo Site Explorer or the data it provides is soon history?

I've heard that the Yahoo SE is going to be migrated to Bing Webmaster Tools.. but will it give us as much backlink data after that?

Is there any good alternatives to Yahoo SE?

I was doing SEO competition check with Market Samurai and when I was checking backlinks it took me into some MajesticSEO website and I see they have monthly subscription fee.

    Is MajesticSEO any good?

Would be very bad if the Yahoo backlinks checker is gone. Looks like it is heading that way.

Yeah.. That will impact on a lot of SEO softwares out there as well.

I'm not sure if the MajesticSEO will be a good alternative for Yahoo SE.. people keep telling it's SLOW on crawling the backlinks and the data it shows is old...
