Is Xrumer still good for 2016?

I think that xrumer it's going to be good for 2018, not sure about 2016.

What do you need it for?
xRummer was used for a lot of things, not just backlink spamming. It was used to also sell on forums, mass PM etc.

I think this year it on strike my xrummer fell out of my suitcase lol
all the good applications that are constantly updated are all working fine
it how you use these applications to get results ....
you just need to learn how to set the correct settings and
do the method correctly.

Exactly. These "risky" SEO tools are great for indexing and strengthening other links. I like to blast a few hundred links at each of my Tier 2 backlinks to improve indexing and get some extra juice. The link juice value is tiny but GSA and other tools give you great IP diversity pointing to your Tier 2 and 3 links, which definitely has some value. Since it's automated its not as if it costs you anything.

I have used it 2 years ago at my office but Alas!I have not seen any magical changes on ranking,so I discarded.
May be I dont know the trick but yes many of us have got good result from it.

Exactly! Any software it's useless without knowledge, and if you know what you wanna to obtain and know the way to do it, software will help you to do it million times faster
We soon will make release of new update of XRumer and right now we a making tests with Current version of xrumer vs New one, results are amazing, so as we will end it, i'll publish here all screens to stats which will show how much traffic it can bring only in few days of it's usage!!!

This is exactly the problem, monthly fees, almost non existent English speaking users. Xrumer was great. And I'm guessing they are having a sale now since all this talk of xrumer has sprouted up all over the forum for some reason. But the reality is , It's dead. If you could use the OCR of xrumer on other software i would gladly pay $10 a month but looking through a couple of tutorials that doesn't seem to easy either. The learning curve for this software was always a bummer, now with GSA and PBNs popping it, It's a lot wiser to invest in those than this. Sorry xrumer , You're in the Year 2010 while we are in 2016. No one is going to pay monthly to spend 3 months learning how to configure the damn software and run preliminary tests, all of that takes time.
I'm still awaiting big things from botmasters as they used to dominate this field before, I guess I'll continue waiting.

No extra payments for captcha decoding service, you just don't need it with our OCR.
We have recently (at Friday) made test of new xrumer which soon will be released and in juts 1 day of usage of XRumer we get more than 2000 UNIQUE visitors of DIRECT traffic! (i'll publish soon all screen with results and descriptions) And still see it! Same as Later we will see benefits of SEO traffic from SE from this campaign! So by using xrumer u can easy return it's price in few days of it's usage, of course u'll need time to learn how to use it, but after u'll easy dominate ur niche.

Many may read your words, and doubt them all. They may even think you are just bloviating, but of course Xrumer is a powerful tool. For someone who knows what to do with it, there is no question of its value. To those who lament 3 month learning curves ... do yourself a favor, and keep in mind that's probably half the reason it's still effective at all - most people gave up on it. Many of the folks who pushed through the learning stages are now quite adept at SEO and they can rank and bank where they like quite frequently.
Of course they also use the other major tools for linkbuilding as well, but there are plenty of magic pills along the way for those willing to do the research. I have always thought you guys historically got a bad rap. Time for a big comeback!
