Is Xevil really worth using?

I'm using Xevil with GSASER, and now I'm encountering a problem. When GSASER is set to high thread count, the corresponding Xevil thread count also needs to be increased. Xevil is particularly CPU-intensive; my 8-core Xevil is often at 90% CPU usage. This means I need to configure a separate server to run Xevil, and the total cost isn't low. Am I doing something wrong?
 
XEvil 7 is expected to be more performant and to be released soon.

For the time being, running less threads might be the best option as it also reduces the time for captchas to be solved thus actually speeding up the overall process.
 
You are not doing anything wrong. Xevil is very CPU heavy, so running it at high thread counts on the same machine as GSASER can max out your CPU. The usual solution is either limiting threads, spacing tasks, or using a separate server for Xevil, which does increase costs.

If I'm using a method that reduces the number of threads (for example, my GSASer has 100 threads), how many threads should I reduce in Xevil? If I set the Xevil thread count too low, won't it be too slow to handle the GSASer CAPTCHA, thus lowering the success rate of deployments?

Currently, I only have 30 threads in Xevil, and it almost always fails on the second day of operation, displaying a "Thread creation error" message. Moreover, it usually doesn't fail immediately, but rather after running for a while. Given this, is it still worthwhile to use Xevil?

30 threads?! u know that means u have 30 concurrent website connections, plus 100 GSA... my PC struggles with even having 10-20 tabs open in the frontend lol
