I am having great success with blog content and autoblogging.

I am moving into cloaking with some of my content and want to make the right decision regarding the tool that I use.

Everything I do is wordpress.

Is WPCloaker still a working product?
Would that be the right direction to go?

Thanks in advance.

Max

I can't see what this offers that WP traffic tools doesn't offer - and WPTT is a LOT cheaper and a license covers unlimited sites. Am I missing something?

I've used it before, it functions very smooth. You'll have great results if you utilize it correctly.

I hear that now the bot IP list is not useful anymore. Google can detect your cloaking site and deindex it. So like to know that how WPcloaker know whether it is either search engine or real visitor come to our site?

I have to agree,, cloaking has been around for a long time now... its stopped working long ago, esp with re-directs, even in java... you might want to find another direction because google can detect that fast...

With Wordpress Cloaker you can have your entire blog targeting 1 or 100 or 1000 keywords. Each page is visible to the search engines so you end up with tons of pages indexed in Google. But, you can cloak real visitors to any site of your choice. Its a seamless, instantaneous redirect or masked redirect so the visitor is unaware that they're being served content from a different domain/page. One of the major benefits of auto blogging is the backlink juice and PR power you generate by owning so much web real estate + the inbound links you get to all those pages.

WP cloaker is best. I am using it. Main advantage of word press claoking is, each page is visible to search engines and the indexing in google will happen easily. backlink also very easy in WP cloaker.

What content generator do you guys use? I presume you have thousands of pages on your sites?

Hi guys, for us new wpcloaker users, are there any settings you recommend HIGHLY?!

Thanks in advance,

To your question and a few other comments made on the thread...

1. Saying that cloaking is no longer effective is silly. Cloaking has evolved as have search engines and ad networks. Where as 10 years ago cloaking for search traffic was the most common scenario, today it is cloaking paid traffic. But the basic concepts of detecting fingerprints by IP range, referrer, user agent, geoIP, etc. are still the same.

2. What makes a "good" cloaking script is (a) support; (b) updates -- which is another way of saying support. Whether it is my script, Mr Black Jack's, NoIPFraud, or another the advantage of these is that if you send an email or submit a ticket you get a reply and action as needed.

3. "wpCloaker" is not the same as "wordpresscloaker" -- these are two different products marketed by two different companies. I only comment about wpCloaker since that's mine, but too often folks will get them confused.

4. The best settings for wpCloaker depend on what you're trying to accomplish. I always tell people the same thing -- use the support desk to ask questions and pick our brain on how to best support your specific scenario.

I am using a plugin called "thirsty affiliates" to so called "cloak" my affiliate links. Is WP Cloaker better or are we talking about different concepts here???

From what I have read "cloaking" is an old school principal that has stood the test of time. I am speaking in regards to affiliate links and affiliate link protection. If I am way off base do you have any basic reference materials in regards to cloaking??? I know there is cloaking in regards to "doorway pages" and what not but I am only concerned with protecting my affiliate links right now. Besides that I hear that cloaking done right is pure power. Probably all those redirects on the porn pages I "investigate"

This is not a forum for link cloaking. Use bitly, redirection on Wordpress, or any of the 1000s of existing link cloakers out there for that.

This forum section is about the black hat practice of cloaking -- detecting certain classes of visitors and showing them content based on who they are.

WPTT doesn't create and modify content, you must use other WP plugins to solve that problem.
WPCloaker does, AFAIK.
