Hi guys,

This question is to product owners that sell them on clickbank. Is clickbank still a good way to sell your products and get a lot of affiliates? If you're a newcomer and don't have an affiliate list or anything, does clickbank actually give you a nice amount of affiliates promoting your product?

Thanks for your time

Just putting your product on Clickbank is not NEARLY enough. You have to be proactive in attracting affiliates to your product.

I was just having this conversation with someone in private messaging so I'll tell you the same thing I told him/her:

It's not enough to just put your product on CB and expect people to find it and start promoting it. There are thousands of products there. You have to go after potential affiliates as if you were going after customers. Make it attractive and easy for them to promote. Once you have enough to get your gravity up its much easier, but the initial push is the most important.

Approach blog and website owners in your niche (there are plenty) and get them to place your banners on their site. Offer them unique content, guest posts, free reports to offer their visitors, etc. Make it as easy as possible for them.

Affiliate recruitment is not easy - it's a full-time job. In fact, it's more than a full-time job. Personally, I spend at least 5 or 6 12+ hour days just researching potential affiliates and making a huge spreadsheet with all their information before I even contact them by email. Then a couple of days later I follow up with another email. Then, if they are potentially a big enough affiliate, I follow up with snail mail, a phone call, etc.

Being proactive really pays off.

Hope this helps a little and gives you some insight on how to get your foot in the door.

Great tips =]

gonzo pretty much said it all...

I also like the fact that CB takes care of the tax issues, so you don't have to send out tax forms to all of your affiliates.

What do you suggest doing when it comes to chronic clickbank refunders? I had found a refund blacklist forum a while back
but I can't find it anymore. Would like to hear of any black hat techniques if there are any for dealing with this issue. Thanks.

I just put my product into Clickbank and get some little success. I think it's good.

just had an idea. i find that there are many clickbank products that are unavailable here at the downloads section.i See that lot of people earn a lot online here. why don't you guys sell clickbank products products in ebay. For example commission payload by alex goad got released quiet a while back. If Some one could buy and sell the product to multiple persons here, he would make a lot more money right?

For example if you sell the product at 100$ each , i am sure atleast 10 people would buy online and you would earn a lot more than as an affiliate right?

I wish i could do this but unfortunately i don't have the required funds to start such a campaign.. i guess people here can make use of this method and make money here at BHW right?

pls voice your thoughts
