@Gogol You talk about Yii2, have you looked into https://pyrocms.com/ ?
It's interesting to me from view that I can figure out Laravel Breeze or so and work backwords to Pyro to get hands on with PHP itself and linking her up between other languages and that there would path out MySQL and getting used to things like MariaDB and such...
So many directions, this thread is full of them!

Nopes I haven’t. Sounds cool, if it is customisable.
I already have a blog backend made with yii2 that can be plugged into a new project very quickly. So, it doesn’t make sense for me to try another one.

Keep trying different things til I'm confident, could be finished and running with one method if I kept at it.

Would agree with you if there wouldn't be any plugins for WordPress around. But mate, there are thousands of useful plugins for any kind of stuff. You can basically do anything you want. I ranked hundreds of websites made with WordPress.

I love WordPress because there are TONS of plugins for pretty much everything - including Structured data, Internal link suggestions etc. And I highly doubt that an other CMS will have solutions for searching for pages with two internal links, a dog and two amazon links (now I am curious why would anyone ever need that).
I think WordPress can be customized in any way possible (sometimes with some custom programming, hooks etc.) for all relevant SEO purposes and that's the beauty of it.

Reading this thread had just opened up my eyes to the fact that I can host my own website on my VPS machine. I wish I had know this earlier before my host asked me to pull down my adult website.
