Is website mobile friendly necessary for seo

today i login into google webmaster, then i found that my website in google serp that shows "your website is not mobile friendly" so do you think website mobile friendly is necessary for seo,it will help seo ??please share your opinion, thank you friends
You should optimize the following items:
1. page load speed
2. use mobile friendly themes

Yes, mobile friendly sites perform better, however sometimes Google can report that in error. If you believe your site is already mobile friendly then just use their checker tool. It fixes the problem. If not, then make sure you make your site mobile friendly as people are now using all sorts of devices to access the internet.

Now mobile page is very good for seo. If you don't have mobile versoin for your site, you don't get good rank. And your users will be satisfied.

Mobile friendly is necessary nowadays because you will have the high chance of getting a good number of visitors to your site through mobile devices. So make sure that your site is well optimized for mobile devices.

I've got a customer who just will not switch over to the mobile site his web developer has built for him. His rankings HAVE dropped when you search on a mobile device.

"Turn on the mobile site" I say;
"I don't want to, I don't like having to scroll down on a phone" he says "just get me higher in the rankings".

He just doesn't get it that even if he should really be no.1 - if Google apply a -10 penalty on mobile searches, then it is totally impossible for him to get any higher than 11th.

"but just do more SEO and get me higher" - etc.

Some people never learn.

Single Word Answer is "Yes"

It's All About Quality Results Of Google. As We All Know Google is More Curious About There User Experience Think If Google Show A Site On First For A Keyword When User Land That Site And Not Get Good User Experience Than He Will Left & Site Bounce Rate Will Increase. It Will Also Impact On Google User Experience That's Why Google Made Mobile Friendly Site Necessary For Ranking. Consistently Increase Of Mobile User Also A Reason To Make Site Mobile Friendly

You should consider that mobile users every year increase so of course having a mobile friendly site will benefit your SEO strategy

It is not a ranking factor, however, google has 2 indexes, a mobile friendly index which will show mobile friendly results and a general index for everything else. If your site isn't responsive you'll lose traffic because you'll be ranked much lower, if at all in the mobile index. Also you'll experience higher bounce rates. Traffic and user signals are ranking factors, if you tank out on both of these then you'll lose ranking. So by itself, it's not a ranking factor. If you have a site that is predominantly meant for desktop users but is also highly resourceful and mobile users visit just the same then you'll suffer no loss of traffic.

Google are all about user experience and mobile traffic is greater than other sources of traffic.

It could just be because I know bootstrap HTML5 and CSS3 but non mobile sites now look outdated and horrible.

If people are buying from your site thats all they see its their first impression you only get one shot at it. A non mobile responsive site could freak out a few non-techie users and make them think your website is "dodgy" and will steal their CC details.

Like others have said its a ranking factor for mobile traffic, you're greatly losing out on traffic by being stuck in 2005.

[exaggerating a bit since I don't actually know your sites layout or whatever but get with the times, serously :D ]
