today i login into google webmaster, then i found that my website in google serp that shows "your website is not mobile friendly" so do you think website mobile friendly is necessary for seo,it will help seo ??please share your opinion, thank you friends

I've read articles saying big g wants your site mobile friendly. However I know of sites that are in 1st position without it.
So with 75-80% people using mobile now, the question is why wouldn't you make it mobile ready?

The short answer is yes, you have to be mobile friendly. It's about user experience. If you site isn't responsive, your phone traffic can't really see your site and they'll bounce.

Google says that this will only affect traffic from phones, but I think it will affect all your traffic.

Of course, you'll lose business too if your visitors bounce.

What CMS are you using?

Even if you don't rely on search engine traffic, you will benefit from having a mobile-friendly website. You don't want to annoy visitors by not providing them with optimal user experience.

Mobile traffic accounts for 51%+ traffic, higher than desktop traffic, according to a report released by statcounter last year. You're going to miss out on a ton of potential traffic.

Using a shopping cart doesn't equate to being seo friendly.

What I would say though is consider how many buyers on mobiles, you are missing out on, by not being mobile responsive.

Mobile users percentage is increasing each and every day. Considering that itself you have to optimize it better for mobile devices. in SEO point of view itself, mobile devices optimization is important and it will be considered as a one of the on page factors.

Yes, having a mobile-friendly website is effective for SEO. Usage of mobile devices increasing on a daily basis so it’s important to update your site to be mobile friendly.

Yes it is necessary, consider the fact that nowadays people are always on the go, we live in digital world , we like to live convenient and portably, buyers always on their mobile phones, when they see your website is very light . responsive to browse-in , customers will increase because of satisfaction, customers will buy more compared to your competitors which website's only 1 device responsive e.g. desktop, I would highly recommend mobile-friendly website is a thumbs-up!

Of course, Google will consider a mobile-friendly website as one of the ranking factors.Nowadays, mobile is an important aspect for every user. So make your site with mobile friendly. It will give better user experience, easy to navigate so the user stays your website for more time. That will help increase traffic to your website.

hi,

since a lot of potential customers using a mobile device for web browsing you should make your website mobile ready.
Not for big G but for your customer experience and conversion rate.

Google will consider a mobile-friendly website only for mobile serp results. Knowing that most of use are using mobile devices nowaday .. the answer is YES. If you don't want to lose the organic traffic from mobile devices.

see, the "Mobile Friendly = ranking factor" bullshit is cited her too...
and ppl question why I do those case studies.

#1 "responsive crap" is NOT a ranking factor
#2 if your site sucks mobile you will lose conversions.
#3 fucked up site with shitty page speed and bulky javacrap will hurt mobile users. using a crutch, aka resonsive, wont help you at all.

any else still in doubt?

strip your site 4 weeks to static themes, then revert for 4 weeks to responsive shit. you wont see a dent in rankings.

It is a big key in my opinion. Why would you not do it? It won't hurt you, it will only help you. There are a lot of themes that allow mobiles for easy access. Go for it man what do you have to lose?

Definitely...On-page SEO does work through Mobile phones too...SEO is not stagnant.. It always explore its warmth from within and best possible ways. One of those ways is obviously mobile phones, through which website ranking is possible irrespective of locations and other limitations.

mobile traffic is one and only way to survive in today's world. You need to make your website mobile friendly and optimize it that way
