yes, cuz if your website isn't index in google or some link that created by you is not indexing.. 2.0 is the way that you can do..
You can create more high and trustable backlinks through it.

Yes, it still works. But you need to treat it properly. Like setting up with one content and leaving the blog will not work effectively. You have to take care of each property.

Yeah it will be useful for SEO. You have to create the Web 2.0 blogs with well hand written articles and create the social profiles for that web 2.0 and do the regular shares on social medias. Also update the useful articles regularly and maintain as real blog so that you will get good value to your site.
