Is VB a good language to start programming?

i would go for php too, you can do many things and apply as soon as you can with that language

It's a matter of taste. I wrote on С++, Delphi, Java, but Visual Basic the best for me. I advise you to learn VB.
 
No learn C/C++
 
Please tell me what kind of bot/software you cant make in VB .Net since some of you are suggesting c which is a lot harder to learn for a beginner.
 
nope.

Java and #c c++ would be good if your just starting programmming.
 
I'd go with C#, easy to use and quick to get started. VB is a little old school
 
Start with Visual Basic, then C#, then Delphi, then Java and then C/C++ ....

like holy fuk u dont need to know 6 diff languages to make a program.
 
VB.net is a good place to start for bot creation since you have no programming experience. After you get some experience you may want to switch to C++

I am just saying which languages he should/could learn, from the easiest to the hardest ...
