Is using product template considered Spam after google new update?

So for a website with 10,000 products is it OK to use template content - where you copy-paste template and make some edits to customize it with each single product.
I am not creating just 1 template for all 10K products. but around 100 templates distributed among all 10k. do you think this is fine? it is really impossible to write 10k unique product descriptions, so I had to use templates. It is still better than copying amazon description at least.
