I was thinking of a way to recover the engagement on my friends 100k Fitness page. It is currently sitting around .5% engagement, usually about 400-700 likes per post.
Then I thought of course to increase the reach of the posts, we would need more engagement from the followers. So then I thought what if I spend a few dollars a day to promote the posts somehow to perhap a new audience or something.
Does anyone have experience in doing this? Surely an extra few hundred likes per day would increase the average engagement rate of an account, and potentially increase the reach because of this (after Instagram decides its a good post because of its engagement)?
Or maybe because the average engagement rate is higher, it would help the profile rank in the algorithm resulting in more organic growth?
