You all know that many times the .com .net and .org are already taken for the domain name you want. Would you consider .us if you wanted to rank globally?

.us is for the United states - so no, I would not consider a .us domain if I wanted to rank well globally. Could always try looking at hyphenated domains maybe.

I have a few 100 .us domain names and i must say that they rank great. Especially in Yahoo. I get there to page 1 with a small amount of backlinks. Of course i have more .coms and .orgs but you can get great direct keyword domains in the .us extension. I own several which have over 300,000 EXACT global search and are product domain names
