I published a job 20 hours ago, I have only received 3 offers, I tried to contact them but they were all offline from the last 10 hours or so

Yeah. Spending $5k monthly on Philipino VAs at upwork. theyre great

I make a living there as a freelancer. I tried other freelancing platforms, but I love Upwork a lot, so I decided to focus my efforts there exclusively.

Also, the amount of offers you get highly depends on the job you´re requesting and how detailed/clear the job description or even appealing for freelancers.

All these elements influence how many people will be interested in your job offer...
  • How general or vague is the job
  • How technical it is (not many people will have the knowledge/experience you´re looking for)
  • Payment is not appealing

I've used upwork in the past and had a good experience. Fiverr I use for small jobs but I use upwork if I want to find someone serious.

Everything is slow at the moment due to holidays, try after the new year is what I will suggest.

I fucking hate holidays! Can't do shit! Can't order shit! Can't buy shit! Everything slows down! Fuck the holidays! Our lives are supposed to stop because fucking holidays. Ugh!!! :p

Generally, yes, but the income per hour is crap b/c you're competing with freelancers who are willing to work for a few dollars per hour based on the cost of living in their country. The way to use upwork is to be a middleman (you source from upwork at low cost to deliver at higher price/hour) but you have to find a niche that allows for repeatable good quality deliverables so you're not getting complaints from customers.

Yeah, buy and spending on junk is open, but who is counting.

I met some very good professionals on upwork over the years. Most I do business with up to this day. You just gotta be careful because there's a lot of trash there too.

As for jobs, since upwork is charging freelancers for applications, they are less likely to apply for small gigs or for jobs posts by new clients. Try boosting your post for a couple of bucks if that's really urgent.

YES.
Upwork is still relevant.
Learn how to get traffic to your profile and don't depend on the organic traffic.

You can't tout for business on here.

OP
Upwork is my go to hire platform or OnlineJob.ph.

Keep in mind a lot of people will be having a week off for Xmas and New year, this week.
Are you sure of the domain
It redirect me to some CPA offers
