It would be a great opportunity if there is some assurance that they are going to be around for a long time.
Please understand that their lifetime subscription offer paints them into a corner because the demand for such a deal is fixed.
And once you have everyone who is interested in such a deal sign-on, where is the incentive for them to keep upgrading the product?
Compare this with a tool that charges you monthly.
They are under a tremendous amount of pressure to step up the quality of their tool and keep it updated.
Otherwise, they're going to starve the next month.
It really all boils down to incentives.
I'm not making any insinuations or suggesting that this is a good deal or a bad deal.
What I'm just focusing on are the incentives involved.
