I'm wondering about this aswell, i have a site i'm promoting on twitter, lets say 100-200 messages to targetted audience (its not a money site tho, its about dancing).
about 1/3 of those 200 messages comes and visits the site.. 1 or 2 of those might click an add... organic traffic at the moment is like 10 UV/day ... so twitter vs organic is 70/10 ...

Sending twitter traffic to your adsense powered website is like having your balls laid out on the burning grill. You know that it is gonna hurt, but you don't know when it's gonna happen.

Here's what i've experianced, i made 4 accounts and every single account had real/legit followers and in total i had 200+ followers and the traffic i got from them
was nice in a way that earned me $2-4 daily on adsense.
So, I can say the twitter traffic is safe as long as it doesn't have bot followers/traffic.Period

If you have bots in your traffic, your adsense account will be at risk for sure.
