i would think this is a fair indicator.
on all the exchange sites (3) i use, the points offered for twitter is way down. for pinterest or even stumbleupon, people are still willing to put in more points. it looks like all the heavy twitter players have quit, and i wonder why.

Depends on what content you post. For example, posting your daily life on Twitter will probably not do much for you while on Instagram you have a higher chance of exposure.

nah it's not dying, good time to buy twitter stock

Nor Twitter nor IG are going to die :) We have clients who gets over 1k impressions and links clicks through twiter. It all depend on the niche you are in.

we have never gotten much business form running ads and so on. As well as followers we only have like 200 or so. So maybe I am not the best judge of that. LOL:D

Everything is dead and saturated for people who are not willing to research and come up with new methods. Following any method blindly will not help and slow down eventually. But if you think out of the box, every network has tons of opportunities which you can benefit from.

Twitter is the only social network out there with chronological events. Things appear as they happen.

Facebook and Plus are manipulated by a algorithm meant to show you a strict reality of what they want you to see.

Guess what's more profitable? The manipulated reality.

Twitter is awesome IMO, it's raw. I would gladly give up my personal FB for Twitter as a personal user.

(BTW I don't have a personal FB LOL but if I did.....)

The issue with twitter lies in their over aggressive stance against spammer which affected the normal users as well. Apart from that users are looking for expression beyond 160 chars. 160 chars used to be interesting and innovative. However users are getting tired of it especially when one can have so many choices for social media apps nowadays.

It's not dying. Sometimes my links get 200 to 300 clicks.

Pinterest is dying more. I think that IG is trending more. I am struggling with Twitter and can't find good ways to earn money or get many followers. I spend more than I earn.

It's 140 characters actually and it's enough for most Twitter users, it always was. Those who want more characters, don't quite get the idea of Twitter.

This is not entirely true anymore unfortunately. By default the timeline is not chronological, what Twitter think most important will appear on the top of the timeline. If you don't want this, you need to opt out, because it's on by default.

"Tweets you are likely to care about most will show up first in your timeline. We choose them based on accounts you interact with most, Tweets you engage with, and much more. You can find instructions for how to turn off this behavior here."

Couple of years back, WF had a thread asking if FB is going to die after G+'s aggressive marketing. G+ author bio was the quickest way to rank for marketers for a while.

But it was G+ that had to withdraw painfully.

You should observe the market with an attention to detail and position your product appropriately. For example, where do you think a cosmetic product get better conversion these days? It's Instagram.

That doesn't mean FB is dying. It's that IG is replacing some aspects of FB and a certain type of crowed use IG more. If you target that crowd, you better do it on IG.

Twitter has a more 'professional' crowd. Usually Twitter engagement is high quality. But if you go there with crappy pitches with no hardwork on your end, nothing will happen.

Honestly, LinkedIn is quickly becomng an Ezine Articles. Every Tom, Dick and Harry sharing their fucking wisdom on everything from wiping ass controlling your rocket's music player on your way to Mars.

I would say it is a good indicator that professional/corporate socializing will rely on Twitter till LinkedIn sort their shit. (BTW, LinkedIn is indeed effective for people like us but it is manipulation that give results there).

P.S: These are examples of preferring one over other. I see no harm in trying each platform and decide yourself. Despite a lot of people saying that you can't sell through FB, I ended up working with someone who managed to sell 3 frigging villas from 150 leads. For me, that's very decent. FB ads was just 20% of BigG PPC.

is twitter dying?
is facebook dying?
is IG dying?
is SEO dying?
is PBN dying?
is ....... dying?

My humble answer is No.

If you faced some problem, that not means the whole world not getting benefit

Damn. Didn't see this before.
