Is Twitter age affected by a change in username?

In a nutshell, I created an account a year and a half ago, but barely used it. I had maybe 2 followers, 3 followings, and 4 tweets.

I opened it up again a week ago, and changed the username.

Is my Twitter age still a year and a half? I ask for the purposes of determining safe Twitter bot settings.

Yes, and Twitter says in your profile "Joined Twitter" ages ago etc. So you can double check.

Are you sure about this? I just used an online service, plugged in my new username, and it tells me I've been on Twitter for a year and a half.

As far as follow limits, it still counts as year and a half old account.

Yes it is still the same age. It would suck if it was different haha
