It's still going strong in terms of traffic. Maybe they just managed to effectively weed out spam and shitty posts.

Tumblr for us has been dead for a while. In fact we've tried for about three years (on and off) to get it working. Does not help that we're in an adult niche (dating) and it really does not like it.

well, my 3 (nsfw) accounts were banned as well. i hate it. i went to blogr. xxx (they called its nsfw tumblr system), currently it looks good.

But is there traffic there or you only use as a funnel for seo? I was using tumblr to drive traffic.

Ive heard from a couple of ppl briefly on skype that that are still succesful with tumblr and they thought it strange that I was failing at it like I was the 'strange' one. But from this site we can see that the overwhelming majority are getting swatted like flies.
They didnt go into detail about what was working for them besides the usual nonsense 'use quality' or some other empty shit statement.

iv never had "huge" amount of traffic from tumblr. and never met any guy. 10-20-100 hits , ok, but no thousands per day. with blogr i have sites with real traffic.

I tried a Tumblr for a little while just as a means of trying to get traffic and I never remember seeing a single hit from there. Wasn't worth the time to keep trying.
