I have read different opinions on this. Looking for guidance!

If I tumble my bitcoins thru a tumbling service, can those bitcoins be traced back to me (my credit card)?

Also, what are the best tumbling services?

Thanks!

There is a "privacy" risk if a mixer (tumbler) operator links your in and out addresses. And if you are not careful to keep the pre-mixing world separated from the after-mixing world then the addresses might be linked and hence "privacy" getting affected.
Note, that there are analysis tools like btctester which cluster input and output addresses in order to find addresses belonging with high likelihood to the same entity. If the user is not separating the old and new wallet strictly or is a victim of a dust attack then the "privacy" might get revealed.

If you use mixers, then your coins will be mixed with dirty coins.

They make you a little more safe, but they dont give you 100% anonymity. Usually some classic idio* is owner of that mixer that doesnt give a shi* about its users so...
And you have no clue and you cannot check if police is monitoring every bit of that site. ( there were cases )
In some countries, by the law they need to collect everything and give to authorities if needed.

I could go all day about it, but please just check internet a little bit more before doing anything.

What is tumbling? What does it mean?

"Tumbling?" Do you mean using a mixer? I am familiar with mixers but wasn't aware there was a service for it. There are also non-KYC exchanges like MEXC where they have a variety of coins. Ive only used the exchange once to buy some obscure coins not available anywhere else but I know people use exchanges like this as mixers although I have never done this myself.

Use a good mixer even if it costs too much. Because you want a trusted solution for your crypto.

Hello, I'm not sure about it, but this post would be helpful for me to learn about it.
