Hey peeps,

So I've been thinking about signing up for TubeBuddy, but I'd like to know if anyone here has had any experience with the platform and if so, is it worth using and why?

Thanks guys,

James :)

I've found it extremely useful to analyze tags plus competition
They offer a free trial for a week or so if I remember it correctly
Also, their android app is pretty cool.

Note: This was 4 years back. The tool wasn't much prominent back then and most of its features must've been through a major overhaul.

I've been using TubeBuddy as well as vidIQ and it really helps out with tags, competition and search volume for each tag. I use both and can't say one is better than other.

I've gone with VidIQ simply because they do a month trial on their Boost package. Had it 24 hours now and it is very useful (so far anyway). There's a checklist system on it much like Yoast has for SEO. It let me know things I never even took into account, such as having a hi-res thumbnail.

I started using tubebuddy and I really like it. Keyword research and some of the automation it provides really helped me in the beginning. They also have 50% off if you have fewer than 1000 subscribers.

For a free browser extension, it’s one of the best out there and worth checking out
But also the most valuable option for Tubebuddy that comes with paid options is a keyword research tool that allows you to get more relevant keywords

OK, so as I said, I went with VidIQ, but here's the weird thing; all my videos have really low views (few hundred on average) except for one that comes up as number one on Google and YT for a famous film character's name and so far has three quarters of a million views, but according to VidIQ, it ranks terribly. Hardly any green ticks, not enough tags...etc. Almost everything that can be wrong with it in VidIQ's eyes is wrong. A lot of the low view videos though are highly ranked according to VidIQ. What's that about?

Yes it works great if you want a LTD account all you do is make a new channel and sign under the trial once the trial has expired you should be able to buy a full LTD account for $30 if I remember it's price right.

It's ok, but I think that VidIQ is better

They give a like of fake tag ranks. That's the only cons I know of, for now.

I tried it, uninstalled and switched to Rapidtags. If I keep using it, I won't be able to stop editing my videos instead of focusing on my content LOL

I dont think its good that much really from the features, but i have only tried the free version buts too limited, especially that i cannot scedule videos to be posted.

but i prefer vidiq as it has a lot more features, as it gives you details for each video you view.

also it i find easier to use than tubebuddy..
