Hi there

As the the title say i am looking to know if a translated article will be considered as duplicate content ?
i don't want spun articles linking to my main site and its just a little hard to write a lot of uniques articles
so i was thinking about this

thanks in advance

I don't think so. Cause i have seen many translated articles and they are working well.

I wouldn't recommend using the automated translation services... at least for your main website. I've used it as spun text with some success.

If you literally translate it, not through Google Translate, then yes it is fine. If you Google Translate, you probably want to cite the article somewhere in there.

Well it probably won't be readable if you use software to translate it. Do it manually and you will have no problem :)

that s cool guys thank you it will help me
and no don't want use translators like GG Translate wich is very very bad :)

if you do it manually then it won't be considered as duplicate.. but google has a way of matching ngrams even in different languages, and if you use google translate then it will be considered as duplicate.

Hi,

Can you further explain why one should quote what is translated via Google Translate?

It would be considered as duplicating an article, which is plagiarism. Which is illegal. So citing is the best option if you do not want to get into legal trouble or anything like that, unless its on a very low level.

So, it won't be considered plagiarism if you use other translating software apart from Google Translate?

If you are planning to go the translated article route, then you have to be sure it's done properly or your articles readability will end up being worse than some spun content. IMHO, unless you are fast at translating or have someone you can outsource it to, it's actually more work than using a good article spinner to make spun content.

You are hearing a lot of BS about spun content not working anymore due to recent changes in Google's algorithm, but this is not true. Yes, quality content is important, and your money sites should definitely be high quality, 100% unique content. However, you can still get high quality spun content with tools if you do it properly.

Spot on that point. Some of the translated stuff give you headache to read and any attempt to rectify the content to be readable take substantial amount of time.

its more easy for me to translate an article than use a spinner lol

Manually translating is just as much effort as manually rewriting in English.

You still read a paragraph and then write it in your own words.

There was a previous post about it here: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...ranslation-considered-duplicated-content.html

Here's a video from google:

Thanks.

That is relative. It varies from person to person. One will find easy on translating while hard in rewriting while its opposite for another. End of the day, we all choose what we believe is the most convenient and efficient approach.
