Is Tiered Link Building Still Working In 2017?

Just so before i buy shitload of expensive stuff, is it still viable to rank this way?

Iheard google can "differentiate" spinned content from spun. Now thats weird and limits the number of sites you can automatically do. Does it mean my spinned tier backlinks are useless?

First of all, tiered link building is not dead. You just can't use as much spam as a few years ago.

As satruk said, never use spun content on tier 1.
To be safe, I never use it on tier 2 either (but some people do)

However teir 3 can get spun content since those are usually really cheap and automated links.
 
Tiered link building is still working if you do the right way. Actually its working very well for one of the site which i'm currently working on.

But content should be of good quality for Top tiers and money site as it will be very effective.

i wanna rank multiple niches with search volume in range of 800-4000. competition is about 40k-500k sites however sites on first pages dont have that many links or any on page optimization, and they have content of less than 500 words.

What do you mean by spun content exactly? spun content is something that allways stays the same right? I use spinned content in SPINTAX that will select a lot of synonyms and rewritions each time it posts.
 
Tiered link building is not dead.It still works mate.
The strategy is effective and will remain effective, as long as it is applied properly.

Avoid Poorly written or spun content is one of the largest mistakes web owners make when creating their campaign
Concentrate more on Target sites should be related to topic on your site, have clean and clear content, and have a decent Google ranking

Never used spin for tier 1 content. Use a fresh and nailed to the point article, so people love to read and sharing it

Two things here
1)It is useless
2)It gives you negative shade to your link building if you are using randomly spun content for tier 1 links. No one recommends it.

Go for unique articles with direct back links to your money site. Spun (only well spun) content can be used in tier 2 and tier 3 links.

Spun and spinned content are totally the same. I'm not even sure if "spinned" is a correct english word in this context as it means that you spin the text and the correct past of this would be spun.
 
Tiered link building not helping for higher ranking much - it lead to faster ranking.
Its point is to help search engines index the links direct to your site faster and attach some authority to them.

Bad tier1-2-3 links can harm your site after time, so if you planning to use spun content to save money, better do it on all tiers. No difference!
 
Tier link building is still effective and will remain effective if you applied properly.Always try to use quality content that ensure ranking to your site,spun content will hurt you.
 
Yes, it works forever, but make sure that you have good silo structure for your site to implement it. If you are gonna use it on money site means it would probably create an issue. Spun content is okay but unique will be better. :)
 
OP, it seems you are doing more of churn and burn sites. If so, then yes, tiered link building still works and will continue to work until....
If you don't care about manual check of your sites when they are reviewed or reported by competitors. Then go with spun/spin content in your tier 1.
On the other hand, if you want to build long term sites, you know what to do.

Tiered link building still works. Although you might have to throw in a couple of pbn links to push the site further.
