Is Threads worth it?

So about the thread NO i don't feel it works like Twitter. I see it as an average medium.

It was meta's foray into microblogging, or whatever we're calling that, when it seemed twitter might collapse. There's not a lot going on there. Enough people are still using twitter or jumped to bluesky that there's not the opening meta was hoping for in that space.

Some people still use it. If you have some spare time i suppose you could try it out, but don't expect any wonders from it.

You can make some threads accounts and let it age. It can be a good value if the platform picks up. But if you are looking for other ways like driving traffic from threads, it will not be very much effective.

It's already dead. It's like a backup app if twitter goes underwater. One of the metas long term projects like metaverse.

They are pushing it in Instagram but no one is showing interest there. They need ti solve some problem, Twitter is already doing that work very well.
