I have a niche site, and I am looking for reviews to put on it. If I find a review on another site, can I take info and put it on my site (word for word) but at the end give them credit and link to their site. For example when I go to engadget, I can read the article, but then at the bottom they say from abc wenbsite, and they link it. Is that okay to do on my website or not.

as long as you provide the credits then it's okay I guess

Thats kinda what I was thinking. I just dont want to get in any copyright issues...

I also was thinking about this also. I could manually spin their review, but I thought by also linking to their site would help me out also.

It is not a good idea for the serps though - you will be nailed for having duplicate content as the other site.

Put the effort in and write you own. Take a look at two or three different reviews and then write a new one from scratch. Your rankings will thank you.

Whether it's ok or not will depend on their policies. Most allow it but some do not. Usually the ones that don't will say it right on the review pages.

But yeah if you're trying to rank for these reviews I'd rewrite whatever you find.

Yeah, you need to rewrite it, do not copy word for word because panda algorithm will scrape it. Write it with your own thought but remember to put the source at the end.

If I completely rewrite it, why would I need to include the source? If I were to rewrite it I would use info from different reviews and completely make it unique.

First of all if you are copying some review then Google will be angry with you.. Never mind sorry its better that you take the idea and hire some expert content writer to make a unique review for you site.
