He/She Installed Flexxtheme in your blog. Cost of that theme for unlimited installations is $79.95 which means he/she can buy that theme once for $79.95 and install to several of his/her clients without any extra charge.

IMHO $80 for theme + Logo + Header Banner is cheap. But if its just for this theme, $80 is way too much cos i think he/she is trying to get that theme by making you to buy it.
Btw, if it was me i would charge $150 for good looking premium theme + Attractive Logo & Header Banner...
As its Readymade theme There is no design involved. So it isn't worth $80 and that theme really looks crappy!

I've told him that I'd let the public be the judge, if there is more positive reviews, I'd go ahead with it. However, if there is more negative reviews, I'd like a refund.
It is happening right now. I wonder if he'll agree to it? (He's not replying for a good old 30 minutes in our skype conversation right now)
PS: I've filed a paypal dispute to prevent him for withdrawing, just in case.

First of all you didn't got what you paid for. This job isn't completed yet cos you posted that you also need logo & header. Did he completed designing that? Also none of our members like that design. So you can proceed to Request Refund.
No matter if he didn't responded to you. Maybe he have gone somewhere. You filed dispute at paypal. So just let him take is own time to reply back.

Well, in my opinion, the design looks horrible! actually you only get 1 header design. not worth it.

Artisteer is a great tool, I use it a lot to create custom themes faster than I'd normally do. It also creates random themes that follow basic design patterns, but even those look better than what you have so far. I agree with Gold Mike; if you have basic design skills you're better off investing in Artisteer. Just don't use the theme 'as is'; design a custom header, stick to a color scheme, use appropiate fonts, etc.
P.M. me with your requirements and I'll send you a free custom made (as in nice color scheme, some graphics, etc) that you can use on your site. You can then invest your $80 (maybe now just $40? :S) in a proper logo and stock images for a custom header.
Forgot to add, there are at least a couple guys at the BST section that can create wonderful logos/headers for you, not sure about the cost involved but there's talent around there, just make sure you check their samples/portfolio and reputation beforehand.

It's just that if you got fooled before-hand (as in you didn't go in details of what he'll do before ordering), you shouldnt ask for a refund. But if you didn't get what was promised in words, go ahead.

Try to sort out the matter with the seller first...if nothing comes out then shitlist is always open...and try to search BST if you want to order something...talented guys and worth the money...

And as I seen the site nothing, I repeat NOTHING! has been done as a design service. If this is a header than this sh!t is a header too. And it has been done in 2 minutes looking for an image at Google Image search and putting a text on it.
Ask for a refund and if it is rejected open a shitlist thread.
After this choose wisely from the offers. Ask for references.

If you can not make something like this, well, this design is okay.... but if you are good at graphic/web design, it's a bit expensive for this design.
My personal opinion, If I can not do it by my self, paying other never feels expensive. But I normally bargain. And I'll see the portfolio of his/her works.

it worth because wordpress template is can be use for long life span if you do not change it. Wordpress template is so nice and easy to modify. Even lot of business and e-commerce website is done with wordpress rather than website builder software. I feel it worth and it allow you to save time and save cost in long run.
To be fair, considering the theme itself is not worth anything beyond FREE but don't forget the labor cost as well.
A lot of people still don't get it. It's not about the website design, it's always been the content. And Logo, stockphotos (for banner) are part of your content.
Just change the banner and logo and you have a pretty nice website even with the new default WP theme.
