Actually I came across this url by googling someone's real email address and this was the only search result, can you believe it? I suspect that all the email addresses on this page are real.

I can tell by looking at the data. on the far right all websites associated with the email has something to do with education and jobs. Also it is listed in a way to easily extract the data within 5 seconds if you have the php script to do it which is great

Because of "directeducationcenter.com" where the lead was probably collected.

hmmm That's pretty interesting. I checked out directeducationcenter.com and they don't seem like they are ranking high organically. I would suspect most of their opt ins are from another email blast, would you agree?

In the .txt file it says "jobs" and "education"
So, I guess he's assuming its in the "job" and "education" niche

Wow that sounds pretty awesome

So I guess I could use this to push traffic to an educational affiliate offer than? I think I seen some CPA educational offer that pay $15 - $30 per lead on max bounty and other sites.

The list has some value. How much value depends on many factors. If you found it via google it means the list is indexed so the emails have probably been marketed too before. how old is the list, how many emails, how many of those emails are still alive.

The list goes on and on. It is not trash by far. I personally have no interest in said list but someone will.

Yeah, I checked myself the five websites from the file and they look a bit dodgy. As you said, the leads may have been obtained through a CB product / email spam or something like that.

Do you think there is a way to scrape the root domain where these emails came from and see if there are more lists on the domain that are available? Maybe there are other juicy email list niches on that domain?

Probably the best thing to do would be to clean the list right? See which emails are active and which aren't? See which people respond to a test message, etc right?
