Hey all,

I was just curious because I saw a post/April Fool's joke about the site getting seized by the government - is this site legal? I mean, can the owners be prosecuted or shut down for providing this type of website?

Just curious. I'm a veteran and a big right to free speech guy, it would piss me off if so, but I don't quite agree with a government in a lot of ways anyway. ;-) I just wasn't sure if they could be legally attacked in some way for this type of site and once I'm curious I've gotta scratch that itch, haha.

I do not see any reason why it would not be legal, this is just a forum with people discussing. And as topics aren't about treason, planning terrorist attacks or anything like this, what would be illegal here?

No it is certainly not legal. You have been warned now stay away!!

Don't risk getting traced, don't ever think of logging back on or even visiting BHW again!!

Farewell....

McAfee flags up BHW as red now.

It frequently doesn't take me directly to the site unless I confirm that I'm prepared to risk my liberty before visiting! ;)

Freedom of information, definitely. Agreed. And as far as what would be illegal... I don't know. That's why I asked. Since some of the processes/programs/etc discussed here are...well, iffy in some ways... I was just curious about the legality as a whole of the site.

The prohibited content clause in the forum rules - good post to the person who said that. Probably a good 'cover our asses' clause.

I just didn't know if this site could be shut down or have a lawsuit thrown against it, like torrent sites sometimes do, for one reason or another.

Thanks for the replies! I know there's no such thing as a stupid question but I probably came pretty close to one with this. ;-)

If this site is wrong....the I don't want to be right!!

like anything in this world if the "powers to be" want to crush this or any site they can and will. We live in peril everyday but then again that is what makes it fun!

they'll never close BHW down - Google wouldn't let them.

How else can the guys at the big G stay in the loop as far as SEO is concerned. They can hardly get good info from Warrior Forum now can they?

you know the phrase "if it sounds too good to be true, it probobly is" ?

Not this time!!!
this as legit as it gets

Black Hat doesnt mean scam- more like spam!
and being creative with the resources we have
